Dear
Friends, As the year comes to a close, I feel like shouting "Victory!" because that is what describes the year of 2007. This was a year of victory, a year of multiplication, a year of favor, a year of dramatic acceleration of the vision of Teamwork. I feel that what Teamwork has accomplished in the past has been a preparation for this new season of God in our ministry. To celebrate, we had a wonderful Christmas feast with the workers and their families at The City of Hope. We butchered a cow and fed over 200 people God has done great things for us. It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them. Psalm 44:3 This has been a historical year, the year that The City of Hope was founded, and the building project was implemented. The things we have done and accomplished may seem small to many, but to us it has been a major victory. Some of the things that we had to overcome were negative mindsets; mindsets that have been programmed for poverty and failure. It is easy to deal with poverty, but it is always hard to deal with a poverty mindset. We have much for which to be thankful. One of those things is friendships and great partners. Through your support, we have been able to do much more than any other given year. We have been very grateful for those who have taken responsibility to share this vision and communicate with others. The year at The City of Hope started in March with digging the foundation. The tractor has been a great help all along the way. Now, both the mission center and children's home are nearly completed. As you can see, the walls are coming up on the main building for the hospital. Even as I write, the work is continuing to move forward quickly. We are hoping that by February we will be able to put the roof on the first building. Soon thereafter, we will begin digging the foundations for several other hospital buildings.
We believe that we are entering into a new season of unleashing the potential, abilities and resources of God's people to bring great transformation in the world. We sense that this coming year will be a year of release and a year of acceleration. It is a year of establishing new platforms, setting new standards in the Body of Christ. We are believing God for bigger things, things that impact both communities and nations. The days of limitations and smallness are past. We believe that this is a season of advancing, of breaking out and showing the world the love and the hope that comes through believing in Jesus Christ. "Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations. He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he leads justice to victory. In his name the nations will put their hope." Matthew 12:18 - 21 Villages like Ntagacha are like bruised reeds; they are like smoldering wicks that have experienced great hardships. Without help, they could die. BUT God has a great plan for them. He loves all people and wants to use you and me to bring hope and truth into their lives. This
is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and
to come to a knowledge of the truth. God's Blessings to
you for a Peaceful and Prosperous New Year. Yours in His Service,
