YOU CAN BE HEALED TODAY!

By: Dr. John N. Chacha

But he (Jesus) was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. (ISAIAH 53:5)

Healing

This message is for you if you are seeking any kind of healing from the Lord. I want to point you toward the wonderful promises, which will help you, claim what is rightfully yours. It is sad that most believers allow the devil to destroy their God-given bodies with pains, sickness and disease. They are ignorant of the promises in the Word concerning their healing from the Lord.

Please read this tract prayerfully and with expectancy. I do sincerely believe that the Lord will meet you and heal your body. I am praying for everyone who will come in contact with this tract. I have received numerous reports and testimonies from many nations from people who have been healed as a result of reading the first edition of this tract. I believe you, too, can be healed in Jesus name!

Important Facts to Know About Healing

1. Jesus has already suffered for you.

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)

Who Himself (Jesus) bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness — by whose stripes you were healed. (I Peter 2:24)

These Scriptures show very clearly that healing is part of the atonement. The same way Jesus suffered for our sins, He also suffered for our healing. He took our infirmities (weaknesses), and bore our sicknesses. We are redeemed and healed. We need not bear the devil’s pains. “. Himself (Jesus) took your infirmities and bore your sicknesses. (Matthew 8:17)

Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not ALL his benefits. Who forgives all your sins; WHO heals all your diseases. (Psalms 103:2,3)

Satan has no legal right to make you sick because the price has already been paid. You are a free person. Refuse to be sick and claim your healing in the name of Jesus.

2. The perfect will of God is for you to be in perfect health.

In God’s original master plan He NEVER intended for man to be sick or suffer in any way. He actually hates sickness and diseases because they are Satan’s dirty works! Sickness came into the world as a result of sin. (Rom. 5:12-14; Gen. 2:17; 3:17).

Jesus, God's only Son, came into the world to destroy these works of the devil and restore mankind to fellowship and harmony with his Creator. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. (I John 3:8) Through the work of the cross, every believer can now attain physical healing by faith and be free from the devil’s oppression.

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. (III John 2)

There are some religious groups that teach and believe that diseases, sicknesses, and sufferings come from God. This is not true, and it is not Biblical. If you are one of those people who believe that people should accept diseases and sicknesses as a package from God, then, in essence, what you are saying is that by healing the sick, Jesus was working against God’s will! Or that doctors and hospitals are fighting against God’s will for mankind, and that even medication is against God’s will! Then we should let people suffer to get more of God in their lives! Or seek to suffer to have more of God in us! What a deception!

3. Jesus wants the sick to be well.

In His ministry on earth, He healed sick people who had faith in Him. He also instructed his disciples to do the same. This shows clearly that Jesus has compassion on the sick and wants them set free. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the DEVIL. . . . (Acts 10:38) Jesus is doing the same work through His servants. It pleases God to see His children set free from the devil’s dominion.

. . many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. (Matthew 8:16)

When the sun was setting, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them. (Luke 4:40)

And the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all. (Luke 6:19)

Jesus healed them because He is very concerned with human suffering and He cares. That is why He suffered for you and me by being crucified and beaten. He carried our death sentence. He paid our debt and suffered our penalty in our stead. Through the shedding of His blood, we now have free remission for sins, and by His beatings, we were healed.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised . . . (Luke 4:18)

This is the New Testament ministry to set the captives free, to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance. You need not suffer — claim His promises to you.

4. Jesus wants His disciples to carry on with His ministry until He comes back.

He called His twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And He sent them to preach the Kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing everywhere. (Luke 9:1,2,6)

This is what Jesus desires the Church to be doing: preaching the Kingdom of God, which comes with total redemption.

He called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness . . . Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. (Matthew 10:1,8)

My friend, Christ has already paid the price for your healing. He doesn’t want to see you suffer again. It pains Him to see you lying in bed, full of pain. He wants you free from the devil’s dominion so that you can serve Him joyfully. The devil wants to destroy your body so that you don’t enjoy serving the Lord, but Christ wants you whole so that you can serve His Father, your God. Let the angel of mercy minister to you as you read this wonderful message.

HOW TO RECEIVE YOUR HEALING

You must have a desire to be healed.

He wants you healed but He can only do what you desire Him to do for you. Some people are sympathy seekers. They enjoy being sick because they can get all the attention they want. Such people do not get healed. We have to hate sickness with a passion because it belongs to Satan and his demons. Sickness is not for God’s children.

You must trust in His Word.

You must trust what God says in His Word. Let His Word build faith in you, since faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Rom. 10:17). Do not put your faith in anything else, but only in God’s Word. God can use a doctor or some other means, but He is the Healer. No one has the power to heal except God.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that IF we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. (I John 5:14,15)

You must claim your healing.

You are the King’s child, redeemed by his precious blood, created for His glory. After grounding your faith in God’s Word, start claiming what is rightfully yours. The Bible says, “Ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find.” (Matt. 7:7) God wants you to do the asking.

Jesus said again and again, "And I will do whatever you ask in my name so that the Son may bring glory to the Father." (John 14:13) You have to do the asking, and He will do the giving and God will receive the glory. Go for it!

You must have faith in Him.

Otherwise, you’ll get nothing. “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24) Believing the Word of God creates faith in one’s heart. It is this faith that moves God to meet us.

And Jesus, seeing their faith, said unto the sick of the palsy; ‘Son, be of good cheer; Thy sins be forgiven thee . . . Arise, and take up thy bed and go thy way. Some men brought to him a paralytic, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven . . . But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins....” Then he said to the paralytic, “Get up, take your mat and go home.(Matthew 9:2,6)

Then Jesus answered, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour. (Matthew 15:28)

He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering." (Mark 5:34)

“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road. (Mark 10:52)

Faith is very important, because without it, it is impossible to please God. Faith is God’s language. It is the only way you can communicate with Him. Speak His language and He will answer you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:8)

Faith is the most important key when it comes to spiritual things. You can do almost anything. You can move big mountains. You can, you can, you can — if you have faith.

Once a group of us prayed for a lady with lung problems who was in the hospital waiting for an operation the next day. Her lungs were covered with holes and the doctor didn’t have much hope for her. We prayed that God would heal her. The following day the doctor took an X-ray of her and could not find anything wrong with her lungs! The Lord had healed her and no operation was needed! The doctor could not explain what had happened — but we knew the healing hand of Jesus had intervened!

Look at this classic story of two blind beggars: “As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David. When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith will it be done to you”; and their sight was restored." (Matthew 9:27-30)

Jesus put great importance on faith. These blind men had the key to their healing — faith. You can have faith if you believe the message I have shared with you already. Be it done to you according to your faith. Receive God’s healing power right now in Jesus’ name as the angels of the Lord minister to you. You can’t be an exception. God’s Word is for you, too.

“I am the Lord who heals you.” (Exodus 15:26)

Confess what you believe and act on it.

Jesus said: “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.” (Mark 11:23) The Lord wants you to confess and believe in your confession because that is what you will get.

Remember that faith without works is of no use. Confession is agreeing with what God says. It is affirming what you believe in. It does not depend on your feelings but on the facts. Your confession should be based on God’s Word and nothing else. You should boldly stand on God’s Word, and you can then start claiming what is rightfully yours.

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Roman 10:10)

Confession is an actual battle with the devil that is not all that simple. The devil will appeal to your common sense and to your feelings, but remember, “BY HIS STRIPES YOU WERE HEALED.” It is the truth that matters.

Satan knows all these principles, but he is a thief who wants to steal what belongs to you. When a thief comes to steal in your house, he knows that what he is stealing does not belong to him, but he goes ahead and does it. That is exactly what the devil does. He steals what belongs to God’s children, but you have the power to stop him.

Tell the devil that God " . . has delivered you from the power of darkness, and has translated you into the Kingdom of His dear Son in whom you have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins. "
(Colossians 1:13-14)

Face the enemy fearlessly, for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Let no circumstances bottle you in, since you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Confess it.

Hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering: for He is faithful that promised. (Hebrews 10:23)

I am believing God for your healing. I don’t care what the devil says or wants. I want you to stop reading when you are ready for your healing and pray this prayer of faith with me. Pray by faith, and if you have never given your life to the Lord, please do it now before you ask for your healing.

Prayer:

Dear God, I come to you believing every word that you have said. I believe that it is your perfect will that I get well right now. Lord, I confess all my past sins and renounce every evil thing I ever did. Accept my sincere prayer and cleanse me. I now pray for healing. I have faith that you will heal me according to your Word. I realize that Jesus paid the price for my healing at the cross. In His name, I claim my share and refuse to accept the devil’s dirty works anymore. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Lastly, do put your faith into action. Believing alone won’t help you at all. Faith without works is dead. Start praising the Lord for your healing. This may take some time, but do not give up. It is like taking medicine–you keep on taking it until you are well. So it is with confession and acting on the Word. Expect to do the things you couldn’t do before, then do them!
